Forest School Assistant (Level 2) Training Course; Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. Autumn 2026

This Forest School Assistant Training Course covers all elements of successful assisting at Forest School, including child-led learning, outdoor play and activity ideas.

This comprehensive course is designed for those who wish to assist existing Forest School Leaders with expertise and confidence. You will need to evidence your work assisting a Forest School Leader at a Forest School to achieve your qualification.

Included are important ingredients of all Forest Schools, using tools, campfires and building shelters & play structures safely with children.

This course is a blended learning course; you will join us to cover the practical parts of the training totally outdoors over an initial 4 days. Followed by a practical skills assessment covering 1 day.

The theory side of the course will be completed via distance-learning supported by an assigned tutor.
